Very choppy so pleased to get gybes in and a few footswaps. Second time with 5.2m, getting used to angles and power. Good bottom end and likes short, circling pumps, gybes nicely. Thought I hit a log as stopped dead, but was large builder's bag wrapped around foil which took a while to untangle. Heavy rain overnight washed rubbish into rivers.
Nice to get in on NY Day, but looks like a month of cold & grim ahead.
